RELAY FOR LIFE ACTIVITIES
And the Winner of the Penny War is . . . . .
Team Penguin!
Here are the statistics:
The Penguins had $34.27 in pennies and $29.40 in silver coins and dollars.
The Gophers had $63.61 in pennies and $75.85 in silver coins and dollars.
The Penny War raised $203.13 in total! Thanks to everyone who participated!!!
The Relay for Life Event will be held June 17 & 18. This year our firm is participating with a "Virtual Team" to help raise money for this great cause. All proceeds that we raise will go directly to the American Cancer Society with our firm providing a matching contribution.
Our office is having a great time participating in the following fundraising activities:
- Pay to wear jeans to work
- Pay if you forget to wear your name badge (ticketed by our Name Badge Sheriff Cody).
- Crazy Tie & Sock Day
- Crazy Hat Day
- Rock Paper Scissors Tournament
- Weekly Grab Bag Drawings
- Potluck Lunches
One activity, which we invite YOU to participate in, is the PENNY WAR. For this activity our staff is divided into two teams:
 Team One is the Gophers. The Gophers are Pam, Jennifer, Jason, Nicole, Terrie, Lindsey, and Leisa. Go-Pher the Cure!
 Team Two is the Penguins. The Penguins are Kathy, Suzanne, Aaron, Cody, Stefanie, and Melissa. Join the Penguin March to Freeze Cancer!
How the Penny War works:
Each team has a decorated jar in the lobby of our office.
 
Each penny in a team's jar is a point for that team. The value of each silver coin or dollar bill in their jar are points against that team.
 So bring your pennies into our office and help your favorite team! Clean out those change jars and support a good cause. We will count the jars and declare a winner on Tuesday, June 13th.
